Do C&H Precision Optics Really Hold Up?
C&H Precision launched their line of red dot optics in January of this past year, and I was lucky enough to receive one of their COMP optics and DUTY optics. The COMP optic is very similar to a Trijicon SRO. I’ve been shooting SROs for a couple of years now, so I’m very familiar with the size of the window, the dot, and its performance. In fact, I preferred this optic over many others until the COMP came out. The COMP optic has an aluminum housing, a built-in rear sight and did I mention it’s half the cost? TAKE MY MONEY! I have shot over 28,000 rounds through the COMP optic and it’s still running like the first day. The DUTY and DUTY XL optics are ACRO look-alikes at a much better price. I’m going to start using the DUTY XL on my Smith & Wesson carry comp to see how it holds up (there is a post on that gun coming soon). They have an assortment of other optics to fit your everyday carry guns and a direct-mount optic for a Glock, too. It’s almost like the guys who designed them are actual shooters themselves! It is so refreshing to see that in an industry where not everyone is a “gun person”. I urge you to check out the COMP, DUTY, and DUTY XL optics. You can see their full line of optics HERE.
